The new borehole will provide badly needed clean water for the school and the community. It will also help over 100,000 nomadic people and their livestock in the area.
It is going to be a huge boost for the area in terms of getting access to clean water and improve basic health and increase hygiene levels. It is funded by Read Horn of Africa and Burar Project NGO in collaboration with UNICEF.
It is expected that the cost will be around US $100,000 of which $44,000 contributed by Read Horn of Africa.
