Reports from Bursalah, in the Puntland State, Somalia, say that 342 students got their examination results for the academic year ending April 2005. Puntland State , Somalia Education Minister visited the school and praised staff and management for the excellent exam results resulting in the school winning the best school in Puntland State for the third year running.

Next year will be the final year for the first batch of students completing intermediate studies. Efforts are being made to raise funds to build secondary school to ensure that students continue their basic education, but worried parents and students expressed their concern that the new school might not be ready in time.
